Ambassador Brummell: Romania made important progress in fight against corruption in 10 years of participation in EU
Romania made very important steps in the ten years of participation in EU, as concerns justice and fight against corruption, the British ambassador Paul Brummell says.
The British diplomat was asked by journalists in Cluj, on Tuesday, about his opinion on the latest events in the field of justice. He said he was hopeful that results of the fight against corruption would continue to be good. He added the fight continued thanks to a very good organization, the National Anti-corruption Directorate (DNA), and wished them success and positive results.
Brummell met several British citizens who do business or live in the Cluj Napoca area and discussed with them about changes Brexit would bring and the latest British government decision following negotiations with the European Commission.
