Augustin Lazar requires CSM to verify Adina Florea for misconduct in connect to the TELDRUM file
The general prosecutor Augustin Lazar requires the Superior Council of the Magistrates to verify possible misconduct committed by the deputy head prosecutor of the Section for Investigation of the Justice Offences Adina Florea in connection with the request for the Tel Drum file from DNA.
‘We requested CSM to investigate in connection to the sorting out of the conflict of competence’ Augustin Lazar said.
On 13 March 2019, the general prosecutor announced that he decided that the National anti-corruption department is the competent structure to work the file Tel Drum. According to him, the decision was given as a result of the fact that the deeds which are criminally investigated in the file no.986/P/2014 of DNA have no connected to the deeds in the anonymous file no.1164/P/2018 of the Section for Investigation of the Offences in Justice. (SIIJ).
The head of DNA Calin Nistor referred to the general prosecutor so that he decides which authority, between DNA and the Section for investigation of magistrates is the competent one to go on with the criminal investigation as the Section for investigation of offenses in justice required several times to get the DNA file and sent a copy of the file to the section for investigation.
In the ‘Tel Drum’ file, the DNA prosecutors announced that Liviu Dragnea is criminally investigated for the setting up of a criminal group, abuse of office and crime regarding the diversion of European funds in connection with the favouring of the company as regards contract acquisition. The deeds were done during the period he was the chairman of the Teleorman County Council.
