Eurostat: The Romanians and the Greeks go to the cinema very rarely
Only 7.1% of the population of Romania of over 16 go at least four times to the cinema while 6.2% of the inhabitants of Greece go to the cinema, the most active movie-goes being the French according to the data of 2105 mentioned by Eurostat in a report published on Tuesday.
In Europe, Serbia is the country with the fewest cinema-goes, only 6.6% of the population go to the cinema at least four times per year.
The most active cinema-goers live in France where 29.3% of the population answered that they went to the cinema at least four times in 2015.The French are followed by the inhabitants of Luxembourg (26.4%), Belgium (22.7%) and the Netherlands (21.9%).
As a whole, in the European Union 17.7% of the population went to the cinema at least four times in 2015.
