In August 2017, the wholesale turnover increased by 2.6% compared to the previous month

As against the previous month, in August 2017 the wholesale turnover (excluding the trade with motor vehicles and motorcycles), in nominal terms, increased both as gross series by 7.1% and as adjusted series according to the number of working days and to seasonality by 2.6%.

As against the corresponding month of the previous year, the wholesale turnover (excluding the trade with motor vehicles and motorcycles), in nominal terms, increased both as gross series by 10.9% and as adjusted series according to the number of working days and to seasonality by 8.0%.

As against the period 1.I?31.VIII.2016, in the period 1.I?31.VIII.2017 the wholesale turnover (excluding the trade with motor vehicles and motorcycles), in nominal terms, increased both as gross series and as adjusted series according to the number of working days and to seasonality by 7.1% and by 7.2%, respectively.
The retail trade turnover, except for trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles, over the period January - August 2017 was higher YoY expressed both as raw series and as workday and seasonally adjusted series, by 7.1 pct and 7.2 pct respectively, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) said in a release.
In August 2017 the retail turnover was up 7.1 pct from the month before expressed as raw series, and 2.6 pct higher expressed as workday and seasonally adjusted series.
In a year-on-year comparison, the retail turnover this August was up 10.9 pct expressed as raw series and 8 pct higher as workday and seasonally adjusted series.
