Industry turnover rises 1.4 pct in first eight months

The total industry turnover (domestic market and foreign market) increased, between January 1 and August 31, 2023, compared to the similar period in 2022, in nominal terms by 1.4%, informs the National Institute of Statistics (INS) on Wednesday.According to the INS, the evolution of the first eight months was due to the growth recorded in the manufacturing industry (+2.2%).
