Meeting of minister of foreign affairs with the Russian counterpart Serghei Lavrov

On the margin of the CAGRE reunion of 19 April the minister of foreign affairs Adrian Cioroianu had a meeting with his Russian counterpart Serghei Lavrov ( the meeting took place in Belgrad). At the proposal of the Romanian party there was agreed to analyse the possibility of setting up a cultural centre in Moscow and of the Russian cultural centre in Bucharest, respectively. During the meeting, the necessity to consolidate and develop bilateral economic relations appeared. According to the MAE press release, Romania’s opening to relate economically with districts of the Russian Federation was encouraged.
