Monday, April 30 declared off work day

The government decided that Monday, April 30, shall be off work day, allowing thus public institution employees to enjoy a four-day vacation on the occasion of May 1. Government spokesperson Camelia Spataru stated on Wednesday, at the end of the government meeting, that private sector employees too can have the day off, 'provided that the social partners agree to that.'
