Orban: IMM Invest, Agro Invest, IMM Leasing, IMM Factor programs will continue in 2021

Ludovic Orban, PNL leader and president of the Chamber of deputies said on Thursday, that credit programs with state guaranty – IMM  Invest, Agro Invest, IMM Leasing, IMM Factor, adopted by Romania's government in 2020 will continue this year and will be opened to new beneficiaries.

“Support measures for economy, under the form of credit programs with state guarantees, such as IMM  Invest, Agro Invest, IMM Leasing, IMM Factor, adopted by the government in 2020 will continue this year and will be opened for new beneficiaries, until December 31, 2021. The European Commission appreciated the efficiencies of those programs at member state level and adopted a new extension of the provisional frame for granting state aid for companies affected by Covid 19 pandemic until the end of 2021,” Orban wrote on Facebook.

He mentioned he had a very good collaboration with the European Commission about adopting those mechanisms of quick response to economic and financial difficulties triggered by the Covid 19 pandemic.

“In 2020 one of these programs, IMM Invest became the most successful guarantee program for companies in Romania by granting 25,586 state guaranteed financing actions in 2020, worth over 15 billion lei, in just 6 months since adoption,” Orban said.

Orban told the entrepreneurs that all budget resources available and European mechanisms will be use this year to relaunch economic growth.
