Orban (PNL): As much as possible we support the variant of early elections
The liberal-party's chairman Ludovic Orban ( PNL - opposition) stated on Friday that the liberals support the variant of the early elections, showing that social-democrats (PSD- ruling party) has no legitimacy, in the context where the governing programme has no connection to the one presented in the Electoral campaign.
‘As it is obvious, we are going to support the solution of early elections. There is a principle. From my point of view, the governing party has no legitimacy to govern, the governing programme has no connection to the programme which was presented in the campaign, namely the lies which they used to get the votes, and the moment when the party does not govern as it promised to the people going back to the people is natural. If we have the possibility, we will support all the necessary measures to get to early elections’ Orban said.
He also said that at the last censure motion the MPs of the governing party were not allowed to vote, otherwise the motion might have got several votes. Orban said that he supported that the present parliamentary majority got the elections based on lies and the measures adopted worsened the situation of the Romanians.
‘As we started, I don’t think that they will last until the elections of 2020 (…). My conviction is that they will not reach the next elections’ Orban said about the present majority in a dialogue on Facebook.
