PM Ciolos to pay a working visit to the United States of America, May 22-25
Romania's Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos will pay a working visit to the United States of America, May 22-25, to meet US Vice President Joseph Biden, the Government reports in a press statement.
It says Ciolos will have meetings with high-ranking officials of the US Administration, business leaders, as well as members of the Romanian community in the Washington DC area.
"The concept of the visit is built around the idea 'From shared security to shared prosperity.' It is aimed at highlighting the success of the strategic partnership with the US in the security area, as well as the design of an economic dimension of a similar ambition, starting from Romania's current profile of economic growth, stability and predictability," the statement reads.
The official delegation headed by Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos will be made up of Foreign Minister Lazar Comanescu, Energy Minister Victor Grigorescu, head of PM's Chancellery Dragos Tudorache, and Secretary of State with the Department for Foreign Investment and Public-Private Partnership Manuel Costescu.
