PNL to file motion against Energy minister after the one against FinMin
Liberals (PNL) will file the announced simple motion against Finance minister Ionut Misa at the Senate on Tuesday, while next week they’ll file a second motion, this time against the Energy minister Toma Petcu, romaniajournal.ro reads.
“The motion against the Finance minister is filed by the PNL group in the Senate,” said the Liberal chairman Ludovic Orban on Monday.
Orban explained the motion against the Energy minister had been prompted “by the unbelievable disaster” in this sector. “We agreed to draft and file a motion against the Energy minister next week, a motion that should reveal the unbelievable disaster in the energy sector, both regarding the loot of the companies in this field, regarding the drastic cut of the investment and maintenance expenses that jeopardize the main transport routes for Transelectrica and Transgaz, regarding the lack of winter preparations and also regarding the serious energy side slip that led to price increases on electricity, gas and heat energy,” the PNL chairman said.
The motion against the Energy minister will be filed to the Chamber of Deputies.
