Romanian employees say Covid 19 pandemic has affected professional development
Most Romanian employees (84%) consider that the Covid 19 pandemic has affected their professional development, over half (57%) of them being vocational school graduates, according to the results of a specialized survey published on last Thursday.
According to Happy Recruiter and IT Informal School, only 2% of people interviewed said the pandemic had a positive contribution on their position.
As for those who changed their jobs since the beginning of the health crisis to the presence, most were people aged between 25 and 34 (23.3% of respondents), followed by those aged 18 to 24 (21.8%) and the 35-44 category (17.4%).
Half of the people who work from home (50%) consider that only 7.42% of respondents declare they are motivated.
The main challenges met by remote labor employees are : balance between work and family, indicated by 31.4% of respondents, and the lack of social interaction (17.9%). Other answers have in view logistic aspects: access to technology (14.7%), space restrictions (9.32%) or the use of certain applications (6.3%).
On the other hand, online work from home brought out many imbalances at the level of digital training of employees and a need to improve their skills. According to the survey, the need to get new abilities is more important to people with undergraduate (27.9%) and graduate degrees (20.45%), while, in areas most exposed to rapid digitization, the interest of employees with vocational/high school studies is much lower, of only 13.76%.
The survey was made by HappyRecruiter.com by means of Dora, the Recruiting Robot, on a national sample of 2,345 people.
