Romanian employers contacted 45% more candidates this year
Romanian employers contacted 45% more job candidates since the beginning of the year, compared to the same period of 2022, according to data centralized by BestJobs, an online recruiting platform.
In the same reference interval, more companies choose to display salaries in their job offers in order to attract relevant candidates. The transparency degree has reached 36%, on the rise by 14% compared to last year.
According to BestJobs, most job offers with visible salaries are in fields like Sales, Engineering, Financial/Accounting, IT/Telecommunications and Production/Logistic. Over 8% of them are addressed to candidates without experience, about 26% of entry level candidates, 38% of those with 2 to 5 years of ezperience, 28% of people with experience of over 5 years and executive level.
At the same time, international jobs which suppose permanent or temporary relocation display salaries in order to attract candidates, salary offers being higher than those in Romania. Fields with most jobs since the beginning of the year are: Sales, Management, Engineering and Financial/ Accounting.
In the total number of applications, 20% are for Sales, about 14% in Management and 9% in Financial/Accounting. At the same time, about 10,000 jobs in IT/Telecommunications have been posted on BestJobs platform since the beginning of the year.
In February, people between 25 and 34 years old were more active (35%) and applied for a larger number of jobs, compared to other age categories. Remote or partially remote jobs continue to attract most applications. February data show a 10% increase of applications for remote jobs, compared to January and double of February 2022.
