Special opening hours for Easter in the oldest market of traditional and local produce, The Peasant’s Fair
The Peasant’s Fair a Slow Food market, the oldest private market of traditional and local produce in Romania, set up in 2007 is open on Wednesday and Thursday 20 and 21 April 2011 at The Ark, 150, Uranus street. The public is invited to discover new, local and traditional produce of meat and milk, apple juice, home-made cakes, Maramures cakes and sweets, olive and nut bread from the Bread Creators, greens, wines, tzuica. The Peasant’s Fair is a market in the chain of Earth Markets and Slow Food International and is a project of the Association of the Group Radu Anton Roman, which set several objectives: local produce support, rebirth of old recipes, Romanian food and cuisine in the context of European cuisine.
