Statistics: 4.2% economic growth 9 months into 2018

As against the same quarter of 2017, the Gross Domestic Product recorded an increase by 4.4% for unadjusted series and by 4.2% for seasonally adjusted series;

In the period 1.I-30.IX 2018, Gross Domestic product increased by 4.2% as against the same period of the previous year, for unadjusted series and by 4.3% for seasonally adjusted series;

The seasonally adjusted series of quarterly Gross Domestic Product were readjusted as a result of the revision of the estimates for Q3 2018, but no differences were recorded as compared to the version published in the Press release no. 310 of December 7, 2018.
Romania's economic growth in the first nine months of 2018 was 4.2% on the gross series and 4.3% on the seasonally adjusted series compared to the same period in 2017, and compared to the second quarter of last year, the product Gross Domestic in the third quarter was 1.9% higher in real terms, according to provisional data (2) of the National Institute of Statistics (INS), published on Friday.
Compared to the same quarter of 2017, GDP in the third quarter of 2018 rose by 4.4% on the gross series and 4.2% on the seasonally adjusted series.
