Study: more than half of the companies want to increase the number of employees on average by 11% next year
Over half of the companies in Romania (54%) intend that, in 2020 to increase the number of employees by 11% on average, according to the Barometre of HR made by PwC Romania which shows that the biggest demand for new employees is in the sector IT&C, followed by industry, auto and retail.
‘Thus, 91% of the companies in IT&C intend to increase the number of employees on average by 20% next year. In industry and auto, 71% of the companies want to hire on average by 6.2% more people and 50% of the companies of retail need a plus of 6.4%, shows a press release of the company. Increase of personnel have also mentioned 40% of the companies in the sector of financial services and 30% of the companies in pharma.
According to the survey, most of the new positions created in 2019 in the area Digital&social Media as well as Chief IT Digital Solutions, Instructional Designer, Specialist social media, Digital& Multichannel Manager, Digital Manager, RPA Specialist and Online Manager.
According to the Barometre of HR, the majority of the interviewees consider themselves prepared to face the deficit of workforce and salary costs which involve the drawing and increase of the number of employees in 2020.
The study HR Barometre was developed by PwC in October 2019 on the basis of the information supplied by 65 companies.
