Teodorovici accuses premier Tudose and the minister of European Funds of disinformation: let us not lie to the people!
Senator PSD Eugen Teodorovice accused premier Mihai Tudose and the minister of European Funds Marius Nica of disinformation when they discussed at the beginning of the meeting on Wednesday about the fact that Romania will spend two billion euro from European funds before the end of the year.
‘I was looking during the meeting of the Commission for budget-finances at a typical intervention of Mr.Tudose in the government meeting. We are present every more often to such statements which seem to be part of a show …they don’t known a certain subject, but they talk to one another. It was about European funds. Mr.minister said something about two billion euro available until the end of this year. Available means that you can spend the two billion euro and he was talking to this interlocutor who knew as much as himself about the fact that he signs or signed contracts with financing’ Teodorovici said.
He showed that, in fact, the money can be used only when the contracts of acquisition, namely in some months or years.
In his opinion, the minister of European Funds should speak about the real problem which Romania has as regards accession to European funds.
‘Let us not lie to the people! People, if they do not know certain things it does not mean that you have the right to disinform them. Or the prime-minister was disinformed through what the minister of European Funds told him. I have to say that the European money that comes to Romania this year and next year is a large part from the projects of 2014, no later. This is the European money that comes today in the country. The minister of European funds should speak about the risk of non-accreditation, to make public the conclusions of the last reunion with the people in the European Commission on big issues of infrastructure, you should see the risks there. Our system audited by the European Commision risks to receive 2 out of 5 which shows a high risk, so, let us speak about the real issues’ the PSD senator said.
