The fifth edition of Kazakh Film Days, December 11 and 12

Two representative films for Kazakh cinematography will be presented at the fifth edition of Kazakh Film Days, an event held on December 11 and 12 at Elvira Popesco Cinema.

“Cultural cooperation is essential for the development of inter-state relations. This event is a good opportunity to present Kazakh culture, history and our traditions to Romanian film lovers. We organize Kazakh Film Days to mark the celebration of 28 years of independence for Kazakhstan Republic, as we want to bring these two nations closer together,” said Nurbakh Rustemov, the ambassador of Kazakhstan in Romania.

The films presented are “Kazakh Realm: Golden throne”and “Deep Well”. At the end of the presentation, film critic Irina Margareta Nistor will join the audience for a question and answer session.

Tickets can be bought for 10 lei at Elvira Popesco Cinema or online. Public access is free on December 11, at the festival opening gala.

Kazakh Film Days are organized by the Kazakh Embassy in Romania in partnership with KMG International, French Institute/Cineman Elvira Popesco and Kazakhfilm Studio, a press release informs.
