The Russian army organises a new military exercise in Transdniester

Hundreds of Russian military take part in a new exercise in the separatist region Transdniester, announces a Russian governmental official quoted by the news agency Novosti Pidnestrovia informs the AP agency site.

According to an official in the ministry of defence, 300 Russian military take part in the Transdniester exercises.

The military manoeuvres organised in the Moldavian separatist region started on Tuesday and will last for one week.

Over the last months, military in the peace keeping sectors organised several series of exercises.

The administration in Kishinev criticised the Russian military manoeuvres in Transdniester considering them as illegal.
