Heavy water plant Romag-Prod (Mehedinti County, southern Romania), is designed to resist an earthquake of 7.5 magnitude on Richter scale, technical manager Mihai Patrascu told Agerpres on Thursday. According to him, if an earthquake were to happen, there would be no risks of accidental leaks of hydrogen sulphide, a highly toxic flammable gas, a result of the production process.
