Jimbolia town could sit upon oil fields of up to 6m barrels

A project of the company Zeta Petroleum Romania for 2011 reveals that the town of Jimbolia, Timis County (west), sits upon an oil field of high quality paraffin-based crude, the preliminary assessment indicating the existence of reserves of at least 1.5 million barrels, but which may even reach 6 million barrels.
