OMV Petrom outsources some operations and general surface services
The Competition Council announced that they authorised the trading through which OMV Petrom outsources to J.Christof E&Pservices and Christof Private Firefighting Services some operations and general surface services, associated to the activity of extraction and production of oil and natural gas, together with the assets and employees they use.
‘The Competition Council authorised the trading through which OMV Petrom outsources to J.Christof E&P Services and Christof Private Firefighting Services some operations and surfae general services, associated to the activities of extraction and production of oil and natural gas, together with the assets and the employees’ informed the authority.
OMV Petrom organised a procedure for acquisition for the acquisition of services and transport, services for minor operation and maintenance, services for fighfighting and salvage, services for outdoors operations, services for operation in facilities, services for operations in treatment facilities for five areas in Romania, such as: Oltenia, Muntenia Vest and Moesia, Muntenia, Moldova and Crisana Production Areas.
The Consortium made up of J.Chrsitof E&P Services and Christof Private Firfighting Services was considered as the best bidder for the first two areas ( Oltenia and Muntenia Vest and Moesia) to sign a framework agreement with OMV.
‘Following the analysis, the Competition Council decided that this operation does not show significant obstacles on the way of effective competition on the Romanian market or a substantial part of it, and there is no doubt regarding its compatibility with a normal competition environment’ the competition authority shows.
