The net profit of Electrica Group was last year 559 million lei

The net profit of Electrica Group in 2022 was, at consolidated level558.8 million lei, as compared to a loss of 552.9 million in 2021. The revenues of Electrica Group reached a level of 10.01 billion lei, higher by 39.4% against 2021.

 

Electrica Group distributed in 2022 approximately 17.73 TWh ( dropping by 4% against 2021) to a number of approximately 3.9 million users.

 

The revenues from electricity and natural gas supply increased by 2.413 billion lei, mainly from the net effect of increase of prices for sale on the retail market by 53% and a slight increase by 8.7% of the quantity of energy supplied on the retail market.

Income from subsidies is 2.687 billion lei, without the corresponding value in 2021, as a result of applying the mechanism of capping prices for electricity and natural gas, the expense account for the due sums being presented in 2022 and for the differences in 2021.

 

In 2022, the revenues in the sector of electricity distribution increased by approximately 665.8 million lei, or 24.4% at 3.396 billion lei, from 2.73 billion lei in 2021 mainly from the effect generated by the increase by 110.9 million lei of the income in accordance with IFRIC 12 ( namely the admission of investments in the network in connection with the agreements in concession) plus the increase of the tariffs for distribution and the drop in volumes of electricity distributed, with net impact of 554.9 million lei or 24.9%.

 

In 2022, Electrica S.A. got a net profit of 24.3 million lei. The gross dividend to be distributed from the individual profit of 2022 recorded by Electrica S.A. is worth 0.1178 lei/share. The total gross value of the dividends is 40 million lei.

In 2022, the Electrica Group supplied on the retail market approximately 8.6 TWh ( upwards by 8.7% against 2021) to a number of approximately 3.5 million consumption places:

 

In 2022, Electrica Furnizare was a leader on the market with a share of 17.61%. At the same time, the company was leader on the FUI market as well ( suppliers of last resort) with a share of 30.55% on the competitive market with a share of 12.82% (according to the ANRE report September 2022);

 

The Electrica Group means to extend the portfolio in the domain of the production of electricity, especially from renewable sources.
