Transelectrica has planned investments of 7,1 billion lei by 2031
The regulatory Committee of the national Energy regulatory Authority (ANRE) approved Transelectrica’s investment plan for the period 2022-2031, worth 7,1 billion lei, according to a press release of ANRE.
Thus, a percentage of 29% of the total value of investments planned during this period is allocated to works for re-technologisation of the existing transport electricity networks (RET) for the integration of the production from renewable sources and other new units, and 30% for works to increase the capacity for interconnection.
The development plan integrates projects of common interest which contribute to the implementation of the strategic priorities of the European Union regarding trans-European energy infrastructure :’Black Sea Corridor’ , ‘ Mid Continental East Corridor’ and ‘ North CSE Corridor’ with deadlines for putting to function estimated for the period 2025 – 2030 and projects for interconnection for meeting the objective of 15% interconnection degree until 2030, established at the level of the European Commission.
In the period to come, 2023 – 2025, investment works are planned to be put into operation which will ensure increased transmission capacity of electricity and security of supply to meet demand for electricity consumption at the level of quality indicators provided for by the performance standard of the electricity transmission service.
During the period 2018 – 2022, CNTEE ‘Transelectrica’ SA had consistent investments worth 1.1 billion lei.
