BNR chief economist says Romania's accession to Eurozone unlikely in the next decade

Chief economist of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) Valentin Lazea argues that it will take Romania at least nine-ten years to reach a per capita Gross Domestic Product (GDP) that is 60 per cent of the EU average at purchasing power parity.
