Trade mark ‘Made in Banat’ can be obtained by companies from the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Timis

The companies which make products or offer regional services, interested to get the trademark ‘ Made in Banat’ are welcome to come to the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (CCIA) Timis to obtain the guide, necessary to present the file for candidature.

The guide ‘ Made in Banat’ contains the procedures,the requirements and the documents necessary for the trademark.

‘The criteria are valid for each of the 14 classes of products and services for which the protection of the trademark was obtained according to the International Classification of the products and services for recording the trademark of WIPO (the International Organisation of Intellectual property).

The increase of competitiveness of the producers and the services suppliers in the region of Banat, the increase of the sales volumes, the discovery of new markets, the increase of the trust of consumers in regional products as a guarantee of authenticity, of the Banat origin and quality at European standards, the improvement of life quality – are some of the benefits of the companies which get ‘Made in Banat’ says Cosmina Mirea, manager of the project in a press release.

The project ‘ Made in Banat’was financed through the programme IPA for Transborderly Cooperation Romania – Serbia and was developed by CCIA Timis in partnership with the Agency forEconomic-Social development Timis and the Chamber for Commerce in Pancevi, Zrenjanin and Kikinda.

A number of 13 companies, out of which five are from Romania and eight from Serbia, from the regions included in the project obtained the trademark ‘Made in Banat’ , this being in the food sector, as well as in that of constructions.
