Traders supported by the state to take part in fairs and international exhibitions
The traders will be supported by the government through aid schemes of minimis to take part in fairs and international exhibitions, economic missions organised abroad, as well as to make market studies for the products.
The government discussed in the meeting on Thursday, a memorandum referring to three air schemes of minimis to support the traders in the promotion of exports.
‘Through these aid schemes of minimis estimated to have validity until 31 December 2018 and drew over 4,000 beneficiaries, the ministry of economy, commerce and relations with the business environment proposes the covering of the participation costs in fairs and international exhibitions, economic missions organised abroad, as well as the costs necessary for the market studies and products. The aid schemes proposed by the ministry of economy, commerce and relations with the business environment will support the activities in the programme for the promotion of export financed from the state budget and consist of grants to cover the expenditure considered eligible’ a press release shows.
Thus the aid scheme of minimis entitled ‘ the participation of traders to fairs and international exhibitions organised abroad’ has a maximum value of the budget of 113.27 million lei, that entitlted ‘ The organisation of economic missions abroad’ with maximum value of the budget of 4.2 million lei, while the aid scheme of minimis entitled ‘ the market studies and products’has a maximum value of the budget of 0.8 million lei.
‘The implementation of the aid schemes of minimis for the actions in the programme for the promotion of export has the role of contributing to the increase of Romanian exports as well as the diversity of the geographical structure and sector structure of these. The system of support and promotion of exports is financed from the state budget according to HG 296/2007, the ministry of economy, commerce and relations with business environment managing the programme for the promotion of exports. The document through which the aid schemes of minimis will be promoted at national level for the actions in the programme for the promotion of exports is the minister order’ shows the press release of the government.
According to the document, the air schemes of minimis started by the ministry of economy, commerce and relations with the business environment observes the rules at national and European level as regards the minimis aid.
