BestJobs : 43% of the job offers available may be accessed by the GenZ

The young people in the new generation become more and more active and populate the BestJobs recruitment platform, looking for internship, part-time or seasonal jobs which could help them get experience or, at least, to ensure an income during summer. Thuss, over 4,000 new CVs were uploaded over the last months on the platforms by candidates aged between 18 and 24. 43% of the job offers available on the recruitment platform are for candidates without any experience.

 

 ‘As summer holiday comes closer, the sector of young people from the new generation becomes more active and populates the BestJobs recruitment platform, looking for internships, part-time or seasonal jobs, which could help them get experience, or at leasto ensure an income over the summer. Thus, over 4,000 new CVs were uploaded over the last month on BestJobs by candidates aged between 18 and 24. Moreover, over the last 30 days there were two times more applications on the part of those candidates against the average of the last six months’ the platform says.

 

The job offers destined to those without experience or beginner level have increased, the companies wanting to recruit new workforce and train future employees for possible available jobs.

 

At present, 43% of the available job offers on BestJobs platform are for candidates lacking experience or at entry level.

 

Young people lacking experience apply for part-time jobs or internships.

„ ‘Over the last month, the expression ‘part-time’ was among the first five most wanted on the BestJobs platform. This is explained by the fact that many of the young people without any experience, who are interested in find a job during the summer holiday, are more inclined to a part-time job which would allow them to spend free time with their friends and family, with a sure income as well’, Ana Visian says.

 

According to the data on the platform, most young people without experience apply for part-time jobs such as couriers, food delivery providers, parcel packers in Logistics, waiters, barista, restaurant or hotel staff, in HoReCa, commercial workers or representatives in sales or customer relations positions in BPO.

 

Among the domains of interest for the young people there are IT, gaming industry being very attractive for the young people of the new generations.

Last but not least, there is a huge number of opportunities for internship in such domains as retail, banking, auto production, logistics and IT for the young people who have not decided yet to get hired full time, but who want to get experience and get familiarised with the domain they want to work in the future.
