DNA: for October 67 defendants, among them a former minister, were definitively convicted on corruption cases

National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) informs on Thursday that for October 67 defendants, among them a former minister, were definitively convicted on corruption cases. 

"In October, in corruption cases instrumented by the DNA 32 judicial decisions that remained definitive were issued by which 67 defendants were convicted, among them a former minister, a city mayor, a judge, a syndic judge, the deputy of Bucharest Police Office, a town mayor, four village mayors, a branch director with the Romanian National Railway Company, a lawyer, two police officers and a county hospital manager", shows a releases remitted to AGERPRES. 

DNA mentions that the sentences determined by the judges for the 67 defendants vary between 6 years in prison with full execution of the sentence and 8 months in prison with suspension in the sentence.
