European fund current absorption rate grew to 78.36% in August; effective absorption climbs to 74.21%
The current absorption rate of European funds went up in August by 1.67%, to 78.36% between 2007-2013, according to data supplied by the Ministry of European Funds.
The value of expenses sent to EC exceeded 14.93 billion euros on August 31.
Effective absorption has grown by 2.45% to 74.21% (14.142 billion euros).
In the Sectorial Operational Program of Growing Economic Competitiveness the current absorption rate was 93.73%, in the Technical Assistance Operational Program - 113.42%, in the Average Sectorial Operational Program it grew to 78.86%, in the Regional Operational Program - 85.04%, in the Human Resource Development Operational Program - 67.74%, in the Transport Operational Program -68.8%, and in Development of Administrative Capacity Program -98.66%.
According to MFE, March 31, 2017 represents the deadline to send the Commission the payment application of the final situation and expense statement.
