The "Mozartissimo", event on Central Bucharest Unirii Boulevard this weekend
Central Bucharest Unirii Boulevard will host this weekend concerts, recitals, exhibitions, as well as live painting sessions dedicated to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to celebrate the great composer's 260th birth anniversary, as part of The Art Boulevard cultural program, Bucharest District 3 City Hall says in a press statement.
The "Mozartissimo" event will take place simultaneously on 8 mini-stages set up on Unirii Boulevard, between Traian and Ion Pillat streets, with the central stage mounted in Regiunilor Square.
September 16-18, between 17:00hrs-22:00hrs, the Art Boulevard will host over 160 artists staging recitals and concerts dedicated to Mozart's works.
The public will also be able to watch three days of live painting sessions and, starting at 16:00hrs on Friday, they will be able to visit two outdoor exhibitions, "Life and works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart" and "Mozart's Portraits."
The event is organized by Bucharest District 3 City Hall and the House of Arts Cultural Center as part of the Bucharest Days Festival.
