FinMin Citu says budget revision is ready
Public Finance Minister Florin Citu has announced on Thursday that the budget revision is ready and it could be included in Monday's Government meeting. "In respect to the budget revision, the communication with fund managers is completed, we have to introduce the conclusion in the revision ordinance. It is ready. We could come with it to Monday's meeting," Citu said in the beginning of the Government meeting.
Prime Minister Ludovic Orban drew his attention that a very exigent analysis must be made, because it is clear that a drop of incomes will be recorded "and here, in parallel with increasing certain expenditure categories, we'll have to distribute money with a lot of parsimony."
"There is already a drop of incomes estimated around 20 billion lei and an increase of expenses of about 12 billion lei. Thus, in this context, we must be very careful with the part of budget expenses," Finance Minister Citu mentioned.
