Inventory value of Parliament Palace over 9 billion lei
The inventory value of the Parliament Palace is over nine billion lei (over 2.013 billion euro), according to a decision adopted by the government, its spokesperson Dan Suciu announced on Wednesday."It's an inventory value (...) it's the standard procedure of reviewing the public estate. The inventory value covers both the land's and the building's value. (...) It is an inventory value report, an administrative procedure, with no other elements to circumscribe it," Suciu explained.
The land and the building of the Parliament Palace are part of the state's public domain and under the administration of the Chamber of Deputies. The 310,920 square metres of land has an inventory value of 4,048,269,219.73 lei, while the building's inventory value is 5,258,356,802.54 lei, according to a draft decision posted on the government's website.
