NATO has no information indicating any intentional attack by Russia against Allied territory

Romania's ambassador to NATO, Dan Neculaescu, updated NATO Allies about Russia's continued attacks on Ukrainian port infrastructure near Romania in a regular meeting of the North Atlantic Council on Wednesday.

The ambassador informed the Allies that fragments of drones similar to those used by Russia have been identified on Romanian territory for a third time.

The Romanian authorities remain on alert and are conducting a full investigation.

According to the acting spokesperson of the North Atlantic Alliance, Dylan White, "NATO has no information indicating any intentional attack by Russia against Allied territory".

"NATO stands in solidarity with our ally, Romania. The Secretary General spoke with President Iohannis over the weekend, and we continue to monitor the situation in close contact with the Romanian authorities,''
