Net assets of investment funds increased by 2% in May to 15.4 billion lei

The net assets of local open-ended investment funds stood at about 15.4 billion lei in May 2023, up 2% compared to the previous month, according to a report by the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF).

Thus, open-ended bond and fixed income funds held the largest share of total net assets of open-ended investment funds (around 55%), while the "other funds" category held a market share of around 20%.

In April 2023, net assets of local open-ended investment funds amounted to RON 15.1 billion.
