Netherlands Embassy in Bucharest:  PM Rutte to visit Romania on 12 September

 The Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte will pay an official visit to Romania on 12 September, in the context of the Romania's future Presidency of the EU Council to kick off 1 January 2019, and will be welcomed by President Klaus Iohannis and Prime Minister Viorica Dancila, the official Facebook page of the Netherlands Embassy in Bucharest informs. 

According to the source, at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace the Dutch PM will firstly discuss with President Iohannis, then Rutte will head to the Victoria Palace to hold talks with PM Dancila. 

The visit will end with a working dinner.

"During talks, the sides will focus on the cooperation between Romania and the Netherlands in the political and economic fields, at both bilateral level and within the Union. Romania will hold the rotating Presidency of the EU Council during the period when the United Kingdom will leave the European Union and negotiations will be staged regarding the future EU budget," says the diplomatic mission. 

The embassy also mentions that the agenda of the Dutch Prime Minister's talks with the Romanian high officials features other current European topics, as well, such as migration and the EU's future.
