Romania participates in Warsaw International Book Fair
Romania participates in the 19-22 May Warsaw International Book Fair, the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR) informs.
The Romanian stand is organized by ICR Warsaw, the National Book Centre (CENNAC) and Romania's embassy to Poland, on two sections - Francophone, and Polish translations of Romanian literature. It is hosted in the Francophone area of the fair, alongside the stands of France, Wallonia-Brussels and of the Bureau International de l'Edition Francaise BIEFF, and will present the most important French language issues of ICR's publishing house. The stand is open, with prints available for public consultation and promotional prices.
The offer in Polish includes books, dictionaries and albums published in Poland over the past years, and Romanian literature translated under the Translation and Publication Support Programme (TPS) promoted by the CENNAC.
ICR also announces at the fair the volumes under editing for this year.
The sixth Warsaw International Book Fair features Hungary as guest of honour, and Barcelona and Catalan literature as special guest.
