Romania returned 1.26 billion euros to EU and WB in 2017

Romania paid 1.263 billion euro in 2017 to the European Union and World Bank as part of the stand-by loan contracted in 2009, with the amount representing capital ratios, interest rates and fees, according to data reported by the Ministry of Public Finance (MFP).Most part of the money is already paid back to the European Union, 1.254 billions euro respectively.
