Season tickets for Enescu Festival 2017 on sale; prices from 200 to 2,800 lei

The season tickets for the George Enescu International Competitive Music Festival 2017 are on sale starting Monday, with the prices varying from 200 to 2,800 lei, according to a OmaVision release.

Season tickets are on sale starting 10:00 am, online on the www.eventim.ro website and in the Eventim shops' network countrywide (Germanos, Orange, Vodafone, Diverta, Carrefour, Humanitas and Carturesti bookstores, the OMV oil stations), at the Eventim offices in Bucharest and in the country, as well as on the Eventim websites abroad and the Eventim international networks.

Individual tickets will be put up for sale on 16 February.

The A-type season ticket — valid for all concerts of the series 'Great orchestras of the world' at the Palace Grand Hall — 23 concerts, can be purchased for: 2,800 lei (1st category), 2,200 lei (2nd category), 1,700 lei (3rd category), 1,200 lei (4th category), 900 lei (pensioners, students, pupils' category).

The B-type season ticket — valid for the concerts of the series 'Concerts and chamber recitals' (at the Romanian Athenaeum, Auditorium Hall) — 22 concerts at the Athenaeum + 7 concerts at the Auditorium Hall are to be bought for: 2,700 lei (1st category), 2,100 lei (2nd category).

As for the C-type season tickets — valid for all the concerts of the series 'By Midnight' (at the Romanian Athenaeum) — 13 concerts, prices are as follows: 1,600 lei (1st category), 1,200 lei (2nd category).

Finally, the D-type season ticket — valid for all concerts of the series '21st Century Music' (Mihail Jora Hall — Radio Hall) — 10 concerts, are to be sold for: 300 lei (1st category), 200 lei (2nd category).

The tickets' prices also include the Musical Stamp.

More than 3,000 foreign and Romanian artists will perform in over 80 events at the 2017 edition of the George Enescu International Competitive Music Festival (2-24 September), that is to take place in Bucharest and other seven cities of Romania. The programme includes classical music superstars as a first in the festival, a record number of Enescu's works — 37, and contemporary music, adds the release.
