SRI director: Romania is faced by complex, atypical threats

The Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) general director, Eduard Hellvig declared on Thursday at the presentation of DIICOT activity report for 2015 that “Romania, in its position of EU external border is faced by more and more complex threats.”

Hellvig also pointed out that “terrorism, illegal migration, IT crimes, radicalism, drug trafficking or other organized crime networks have reached alarming levels which compel us to ensure a higher capacity to adaptation and rapid reaction.”

The SRI director participated on Thursday in the DIICOT report for 2015.
