The budgetary amendment draft will be adopted in the government meeting of 10 August

The budgetary amendment draft will be adopted in the next government meeting of 10 August, announced on Wednesday the spokesperson of the executive Liviu Iolu.

The first amendment of this year for the state budgets and social insurances proposed by the ministry of finances (MFP) includes the increase of the general consolidated budget incomes with 2.92 billion lei and the expenses of the general consolidated budget with the same sum, the domains which benefit from most money being Work, Finances, Internal Affairs, Education and Health.

‘The draft posted on the site of the MFP aims at the keeping of the budgetary deficit for 2016 at the level of 2.8% of the GDP, in cash, and 2.95% of GDP according to ESA methodology. The document assures the supplementary funds for the domains of health and education, the necessary sums for the implementation of the legislative measures adopted during the current year and the funds for the continuation of the projects of feasible investments, being assured sums at the level of the necessary for works which can be made until the end of the year’ MFP said at the end of July.

According to the quoted sources, through the proposal of amendment such domains were insured: Health (+ 568.6 million lei) out of which the ministry of health a plus of 297.6 million lei and the National House for Health Insurance a plus of 271 million lei for the sums necessary for the payment of the increased salaries according to OUG no.20/2016 and destined to the medical personnel as well as for the modernisation works in maternities, investments for ambulance services and UPU/CPU, drugs acquisition and sanitary materials for the general medicine surgeries and dentistry in schools.

At the same time, another 1.01 billion lei go to the domain of education, for the salary differences included in law no.85/2016 for the personnel in pre and university education and the necessary sums to cover the salary increases approved by OUG no20/2016.
