The Head of the Agency for Injury Recovery in France comes to Romania for support

The minister of justice Robert Cazanciuc stated on Friday that these days there will come the head of the Agency for Injury Recovery in France, to offer support in for the procedures to set up a similar institution in Romania.

Robert Cazanciuc said that at the balance of the Court of Appeal Bucharest, as regards the issue of injury recovery following the definite decisions in criminal files, there was a memorandum sent to the government, to set up a similar structure which could offer assistance to the magistrates, from preservation to the effective putting to value the products of the crime.

He said that the deadline for this structure to be operational is the end of March.

The most efficient structure of this kind is in France, 30 people work there. The head of this structure will come to Bucharest and will come for a period to help us to turn this structure operational’ the minister of justice said.

Cazanciuc said that the minister of justice has already, following the memorandum at the government, four people at the National Agency for Fiscal Administration which effectively work to make this structure operational.

President Klaus Iohannis said on Tuesday, in the speech delivered at the DNA balance on 2014, that the injury recovery is ‘ compulsory, not operational for the authorities’ and the present situation with a degree of recovery and execution of damage by the minister of finances of approximately 10 percent is ‘ unacceptable’.
