The reaction of the Council of Foreign Investors after Dragnea accused some multinational companies that they finance the ‘rezist’ movement
After the statements of the PSD leader Liviu Dragnea on Tuesday night the representatives of the Foreign Investors Council (Foreign Investors council –FIC) said that these attacks are unfounded and they worry the community they represent
‘The Foreign Investors Council want a stable and predictable business environment. The unfounded attacks at the address of ‘ multinationals’ cannot but worry the FIC community as they do not contribute to the climate of trust necessary for a market economy such as Romania. Besides this, we are not capable to answer some statements of general nature about multinational companies which were not accompanied by evidence or exact information’ stated the FIC representatives.
FIC is made up of over 130 of the biggest multinationals in Romania,the board of the directorate including at present representatives of the Uniqa Asigurari, PwC Romania,Engie Romania,Orange Romania, KMG International (the former Rompetrol),KPMG Romania, Deloitte Romania, Sodexo Pass Romania,CRHCiment Romania,BERD, Muen Lowe Group,Enel Romania, Mega Image, ING Bank Romania and GSK Romania.
The PSD leader Liviu Dragnea attacked on Tuesday night some foreign companies about which he said that they behind the ‘rezist’ movement.Dragnea said that he was attacked due to the measures he took and the fact that he did not agree to the methods used by foreign companies through which they do not pay all the taxes.
