Traditional Food Festival în Bucharest, this weekend

Bucharesters will have the opportunity to taste and buy specific Romanian produce, brought from peasant farms and households, at producer prices, at Traditional Food Fair, a charity held Friday through Sunday in Bucharest, Alexandru Ioan Cuza Park, at Maramures Church entrance.

At the festival, children from local placement centers will present their own products, organizers inform.

On Saturday, as of 1:00 p.m., 25 children will open a stand with objects made by them.

Organized by the European Center for Addiction Prevention Association, the event promotes education and social integration of less favored groups.

According to the press release, the fair is organized to support and help children and youths with modest financial status, with risk of drug consumption and trafficking. Their integration in community is often a real challenge for the authorities.
