Violeta Alexandru: technical unemployment will go on after 15th May in certain conditions
The minister of work Violeta Alexandru stated on Saturday night at Digi24 that she was close t a decision regarding the technical unemployment, thus speaking about its prolongation for those sectors where there are restrictions after 15th May. The decision will be taken after new discussion with the social partners of the ministry and it will come in one week. On the other hand, the ministry of work is working on a set of measures to help the companies which survived the crisis and will continue their activity.
In case the company affected by the crisis cannot resume its activity after 15th May, the state will cover a part of the salary costs Violeta Alexandru stated that those who managed to keep their activity in acceptable terms, who made efforts and did not require technical unemployment and did not interrupt their activity could benefit from certain measures, so that their activity could be appreciated and seen by the government’.
