The number of persons whose deaths were recorded in November 2016 was 21569, 294 less than in October 2016. The natural increase in November 2016 was negative, with an excess of deaths of 5737 over live births. The number of deaths of children under 1 year recorded in November 2016 was 100, the same as in October 2016.
Marriage rate and divorce rate
6476 marriages were recorded at Register Offices in November 2016, 6937 less than in October 2016. 2412 divorces were formally pronounced by final court decree and in accordance with Law No 202/2010, 108 less than in October 2016.

The number of live births rose by 2228 in November 2016 compared to the same month of 2015, and the number of persons who died was higher by 16 than in November 2015. The natural increase was negative both in November 2016 (5737 persons) and in November 2015 (7949 persons). The number of children under 1 year who died in November 2016 was smaller by 11 than the one recorded in November 2015.
Marriage rate and divorce rate
The number of marriages increased by 723 in November 2016 compared to the same month of the previous year. In November 2016, 429 less divorces than in November 2015 were formally pronounced by final court decree and in accordance with Law No 202/2010.
