The Oltenia Energy complex announces the set up of the joint company Huadian Oltenia Energy SA
Approximately 250 new work places will be created following the registration at the Commerce Register of the joint company Huandian Oltenia Energy SA resulting from the partnership between the Oltenia Energy Complex and the Chinese company Huandian engineering shows a press release posted on Friday on the site of the company. According to the quoted source, a delegation of the Chinese party in the joint company Hundian Oltenia Energy SA paid between 28 March – 12 April a work visit to discuss the principles for the following contract for the supply of coal and services..
The next visit will take place during the month of May when the contracts should be signed, and the new society will be recorded in the Trade Register.
The joint company Huandian Oltenia energy SA will have its headquarters in Rovinari with almost 250 employees.
‘The start of the construction works for the new power station of 1x600 MW will be made after the approvals have been obtained. The duration for the construction is of almost 36 months, since authorisation. This new capacity of production should replace the existing capacities in the National Grid System whose life has expired and whose technology belonging to 1970’s is oldfashioned ‘ the press release says.
This source says that during the implementation period, there is an estimate of over4000 work places will be made and the new energy group will use 4.6 million tons of coal annually, which means the security of 3,000work places.
The representatives of the ministry of energy announced since 2014 the creation of the joint company between the Complexul energetic Oltenia and theChinese company Huadian, a project aiming at investments of almost one billion euro for the Rovinari power station.
