Drogerie market - dm - chain opens seven new stores in Romania
Drogerie markt - dm - chain is to open seven new stores in Romania by November, company CEO Milan Radin told AGERPRES, on the occasion of Romania Retail Summit.
'We currently have 28 stores, two were opened in September and in November we will reach 36 stores. We are to open new stores in Bucharest, Targoviste, Miercurea Ciuc, Sf. Gheorghe, Turda, Giurgiu, and Bistrita, 'Radin said.
He stressed that the new stores are expected to post 50 percent higher sales than other stores in the chain, due to the very good street locations.
'dm drogerie markt' is one of the largest chains of drugstores in Europe, founded in 1973 in Germany, with the opening of its first store in Karlsruhe. In 1976, dm opened a new center in Austria and in the following years it continued to expand to some other countries such as Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Romania and Bulgaria. Up to now, dm drogerie markt has over 2,000 stores and 11,000 employees. 'dm drogerie markt' is specialized in beauty, wellness, baby and household products.
