EC approves Romania's request to grant advance payments to farmers

The European Commission approved the request made by the Romanian authorities for providing advance payments to the farmers, said Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Daniel Constantin on Friday, in a press conference.'Our request to the EC, to allow us, in an exceptional drought situation, to pay the amounts per surface in advance to the farmers was approved by the European Commission.
