Forbes ranks Mariana Gheorghe most influential woman in Romania
The Forbes Romania Magazine ranks OMV Petrom general manager Mariana Gheorghe as the most powerful woman in Romania.
'We all are ranked the first most influential women in Romania, because we all are highly performing and are confident in everything we do, in our future,' Marian Gheorghe said when she was awarded the distinction.
Forbes publication, during the Forbes Woman Gala, on Thursday, awarded prizes to the most powerful women in Romania. Princess Margareta was awarded the special Prize for Social Involvement, IFC (World Bank) Ana Maria Mihaescu was named the most influential woman in banking and finance Anca Vlad Fildas was named the most powerful entrepreneur, Kinga Daradics (MOL) was ranked the youngest CEO, Leslie Hawke won the Award for Education, Narcisa Pheres - was awarded for Building an international luxury brand, while actress Oana Pelea received the Prize for Culture.
The event's special guest was Tvetelina Borislavova, the most powerful woman in Bulgaria the owner of the Bulgarian-American Credit Bank, and spouse of ex- PM Boris Boyko.
